We offer handmade carpets, tiles and digital custom work for wallpaper, and all of these options have unique technical aspects that should be considered when thinking about custom design work. We also offer design services for projects ranging from a little help here and there, to taking you all the way from initial concept to stunning creation.

BESPOKE DESIGN
Sometimes a space requires something unique. We encourage you to make the most of our Bespoke Service and create an original rug that is perfect for you.
With over 2,000 colours and luxurious yarns such as wool, silk, mohair and cashmere to choose from, as well as a dedicated design team on hand to help, commissioning an entirely personal one-off piece couldn’t be easier. We are committed to making every effort until the perfect rug is created
As with customising an existing design, it will take time to weave you a bespoke rug, but it is time well spent as the result will be an original piece.
SIZE/FITTING
Most rooms need a rug – a room without a rug can appear unwelcoming and unfinished. It will transform a room, introducing a sense of luxury, particularly if it is of good quality and a high standard of craftsmanship; the colour, pattern and texture of the rug lend a feeling of comfort and personality to the room.
Always opt for a good quality handmade rug over a tufted one because not only do they look so much better, but they also will last for much, much longer. Most of all, you must love the rug – it is not like cushions, curtains or a sofa, but something that should last forever so you must be happy enough to have it in any room or even a different house.

CARE & CLEANING
CLEANING
Your handcrafted Malene B carpet is beautiful, durable and with proper care will last a lifetime. We suggest weekly vacuuming and spot clean regularly. In the event your carpet becomes heavily soiled, please contact a certified cleaning professional. Do not dry clean or use chemicals to clean the carpet, as it will cause fading.
SHEDDING
Since it is a new carpet, shedding may occur from the shearing and tufting process. Please be assured your rug is not unraveling. We suggest you vacuum your rug more often when its first received and in a short while the extra fluff will cease being produced. Use scissors to cut the ends of loose threads.
FADING
We only use the best fade resistant dyes. Unfortunately, no dyes are totally stable or can fully compete against sunlight. We suggest rotating your carpet occasionally for even wear.
PADDING
Padding provides extra cushion, stabilizes the carpet from moving and absorbs excess moisture. For carpets placed in tropical climates or near seashores we recommend padding and using a dehumidifier to limit moisture damage and retard mold.
